reflect on different points of view, think critically & develop a better understanding of the world around

Technology & Inquiry- Technology provides a wide range of info. resources for finding
& analyzing info.
( electronic encyclopedias, card catalogs, periodical indexes etc..)
Suggestions
In the use of generic technologies (databases, telecommuications, VCR'S , T.V., etc..)
Elementary science- Build on databases from previous years. ( Gather info. via notes,
pictures, etc..-Or use Electronic Laboratories
Video production for Interdisciplinary Learning-e.g. Daily news broadcast

-social studies, -science (nutrition), mathematics (percentages, grapghs)
Database Software in mid-school-Use telecommunications to link up w/other schools
across the country to interview immigrant peers and enter info. into their databases
Multiple Resources in High School English and History
-Show clas film footage from the period of study (e.g. WWII)
-Students have Q's & answer session , bringing in prior knowledge
-students explore different view points from a comprehensive list provided by
teacher. (print, human, and electronic)
-Small groups explore a particular area
-Classes met for a series of events like-television talk, class discussion, panel
discussion, & review Q's asked @ beginning of semester
-Final exam-research report-print or multimedia
